Three Seasons to Choose From

Fall Half Training

Our fall season kicks off August 8! Learn proper run techniques and get ready for any of the awesome half-marathons coming up. Our beginner friendly atmosphere is perfect for Couch Surfers to PR Junkies!

Spring Training

Whether you've never run before or you're training for a half, this group is for you! With our fun, beginner-friendly atmosphere, coaches Nancy and Max will teach you proper run techniques and help you meet your fitness goals. This season is 16-weeks long and starts at only $260.

Summer Trails Fun

Fall in love with the outdoors and learn how to safely run on all different terrains. Every weekend group run explores a different trail throughout the valley. This short season is 10-weeks long and starts at only $100 - that's $10 a week!

  • Nancy Dickinson

    Owner + Coach

    A nationally ranked triathlete has been successful sharing her passion for Functional Movement for over 11 years.

    Dickinson holds certifications from AFAA (Aerobics Fitness Association of America) in Personal Training, Nutrition and Pre-Natal Fitness, Arthritis Foundation Water Rehabilitation, Lifeguard Training, Red Cross CPR and First Aid. She is also in the process of obtaining her USAT (USA Triathlon) Coaching Level 1 Certification along with going back to school for a deeper understanding of Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology.

    Balancing family life (Nancy’s pride and joy is her 5-year old son, Luke) with her career and her own elite endurance training is nothing short of chaos and utter joy. Fitness has held all the pieces together. She longs to share that gift with as many people as she possibly can, for the rest of her days.

  • Max Jones

    Coach

    Running and competing for as long as he can remember, Max holds a B.S. in Human Performance and is a certified personal trainer.

    Jones has been a competitor his entire life, most notably as a Division One Cross Country & Track Athlete at Florida Gulf Coast University. Max graduated with Bachelors of Science degree in Human Performance and is currently in pursuit of a Master's Degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Biomechanics from University of Nevada.

    His preference for training includes assessing functional capability of client in relation to the specified training goal and creating an individualized training protocol that progresses the client/athlete to higher levels in fitness while always keeping the specified training goal(s) in mind.

Dates, Times + Locations

Group runs are every weekend starting at 6am (to beat the heat!). We meet at Anthem Fitness on 10902 S Eastern Ave. Times/location are subject to change depending on which season is in session (trail season in Summer changes weekly). Cross training sessions like Speed Workouts, Aqua classes and more are also available! Ask Coach Nancy for more information.

    Fall Season Starts

    Fall Season starts August 8 - November 14!
    This 16-week educational endurance program is devoted to getting individuals of all athletic backgrounds MOVING and HEALTHY via running and walking. We specialize in EDUCATING WHILE TRAINING.

    What can one expect to receive when signing up for a season?
    Program development for the beginning to advanced half marathoner, plus step by step guide to proper run/walk form for brand new athletes.

      Weekly Saturday morning meetings which include:
    • Lecture on all endurance related topics from nutrition to form to cross training, just to name a few.
    • Scattered professional guest speakers in the wellness field.
    • Appropriately routed mileage or time in some of the best run spots in the valley.
    • Hydration stops/support.
    • Weekly emailed 'homework' for race prep or training maintenance.
    • Constant communication with your coach/coaches via text and email.
    • Access to great deals and training with Anthem Fitness and other major retailers.
    • Education far surpassing just what's necessary for the workout itself, and providing the tools for an overall healthy athletic lifestyle.

What is ROCKIN RUNNERS?

Rockin Runners is not a run club. We are an EDUCATIONAL ENDURANCE PROGRAM devoted to getting individuals of all athletic backgrounds MOVING and HEALTHY via running and walking. We specialize in EDUCATING WHILE TRAINING. This ensures that our new learned wellness habits become a LIFESTYLE ROUTINE instead of a fly-by-night phase in our lives.

We embrace all levels from the fearful COUCH SURFER to the P.R HALF MARATHON junkie.

We are A FAMILY.
